29th May. The Hot 91/Sunshine Coast Daily Ladies Oaks Day is fast becoming the most popular day at the races, especially for the ladies.
Sunshine Coast Regional Winter Bowls Carnival
10th June – 6th August. The Sunshine Coast Winter Bowls Carnival is in its 47th Year.
Gympie Stampede
12th – 14th June. The Gympie Stampede is three days of traditional country music starting on June 12 at 1.00pm.
The Noosa Long weekend Festival

Caloundra Cup Carnival
27th – 28th June. The Caloundra Cup Carnival is the Sunshine Coast Turf Club's major racing event for the year.
Mitsubishi Rainbow Beach Family Fishing Classic
17th – 25th July. The Mitsubishi Rainbow Beach Family Fishing Classic is a fishing tournament that is open to all ages and gender, which are new or experienced at fishing, and for those who want to enjoy the experience of watching and participating in all the other activities.
Bindi Irwins Eleventh Birthday – Australia Zoo
24th July. Crikey! You can party with Australia Zoo's wild child as the pint-sized wild life warrior turns 11! That's right - it's Bindi's Birthday, and she wants all kids to go to the zoo for free (kids aged up to 14 years accompanied by an adult will receive free entry into Australia Zoo on 24 July) to party with her! There will be more activities at the zoo than you can poke a stick at.
Queensland Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship
13th – 15th September. The Queensland Men's Mid Amateur Championship is held annually during September and will be played over 54 holes of stroke play - 18 holes on each of three days play at the challenging Greg Norman designed Club Pelican Golf Club. Coolum Kite Festival
3rd - 4th October. Founded in 2000 and still going strong! The 2009 Coolum Kite Festival is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. The Coolum Kite Festival will showcase some of the best kite flyers from around the world. Kites of all shapes and sizes will be on display including some massive character and theme based kites.
